Our QoLISENSE Garments specialize in improving proprioception.
What is “proprioception”? Proprioception is the sense of perceiving one’s body's position in space, as well as the sense of equilibrium and balance. It is this perception that allows us to move effortlessly. Proprioception assists us in controlling and directing our movements.
As its receptors are embedded in connective tissue, proprioception is frequently impaired in connective tissue disorders. Compressive garments aim to improve and optimize this “sixth sense” and thus improve equilibrium and balance. As poor proprioception can cause joint instabilities, resulting in injuries, pain, and difficulty walking, compressive garments are a tool in the arsenal of addressing connective tissue issues.

QoLISENSE Garments currently include shirts and trousers (long pants/leggings), with socks, elbow support sleeves, and gloves still being developed and improved upon.
A trained specialist familiar with taking measurements for these highly delicate type of garments is required, ensuring they are tight but comfortable in order to work effectively.
Dr. Brock is one of the few specialists who understands how these garments are constructed and measured, applying this expertise to QoLISENSE Garments. These garments can be worn daily, becoming a part of the wearer's life.

- Another person to assist with taking measurements
- Soft, flexible tape measure with centimeters and inches
- Something to take notes with if needed
- Well lit area or room
- Chair or bed for intermittent rest if needed
- Hydration on-hand
